Sharing a blast from the past...this is my absolute favorite overdrive pedal...now on it's 10th year with me! Glad to find the new home of the Barber Forum.

I didn't know Barbers had been around that long.

David you have a badass signature.

My mother's a doctor and my signature isn't even that cool looking! Totally unfair.

Hi Joe,
Barber Electronics accidentally started selling pedals in late 1997, the Tone Pump was our first product, and was lifted from my standard live rig.

My Mom is a Dr. too! of History. 8-)

I see, I always though the DD was your first pedal.

I haven't tried a Tone Pump yet, If i get around to going to San Francisco sometime next month, I'll drop by Danville and try one out. The Tone Pump is supposed to do the cranked-compressing amp deal right? Would the difference between it and a Special Recipe be the compression or something else?
