Can't boot off my Barbers.

Before I die. I wanted to try out a highly rated tube based pedal. This pedal can do boost-low gain, med, high gain with many EQ options. Most versatile pedal I've ever played. Yet...it can't boot my Barbers  . The Barbers cover their respective positions better.
The only thing it can beat the Barbers at is touch sensitivity. Which a tube based pedal should be able to do in spades anyways. ;)
