Haven't played a show since May. Been on chemo since April, only got 2 chemo rounds left - since the side effects are cumulative it's really kicking my ass now.

I've taken off the Lex btw and went back to my Ibanez CS9. As nice as the Lex sounds, I like the CS9 with the rate maxed better for what I do. I also have a BAT Pharaoh and a Cusack More Louder on there now. Really liking the Pharaoh, most flexible Fuzz I've ever tried, stacking it after the Half Gainer.

Hi jules...Sorry to hear your going through Chemo, wish you the best of health, My son has gone throught it a couple of years ago and is doing great now!

Keep Rock'n

Thanks you two - so far the other tests I've taken (another colonosopy, PET scan, CEA numbers) have had good results, it seems to be working. Did a 5 week radiation treatment before chemo, so I'm doing everything possible.

I would never dare use the DB and Tri at the same time. Experiments tonight proved to me that the resulting sound is just not meant for human ears. It was an utter garbled mess. BUT both play well with the Linden and LP. I am pondering one more, one of the lower gain drives for a bluesier bass sound.

I should mention that I do have a proper travel case. They were just out for experimentation by themselves. My pedals travel ever weekend to church with me. Saturdays and Sundays.

The DB didn't pass my muster, waiting for a deal on an LTD SR to pop up. Until then, this is the combined Barber-FEA Labs board:

The Trifecta goes to mixer chan 2. The Growler to mixer chan 1. Turn on chan 2 when I want an awesome combination of Fuzz and Growl. The LP gives both channels a clean line of signal.

I picked up a PedalTrain Nano board and the following is now my "production" chain for use with my Kala U-Bass.

Mine... finally getting satisfying sounds out of everything on my board. All thanks to Barber ;)

If you're wondering, the Burn Unit is where it is because it's so tall; even though it's my primary dirt pedal, I had to position it so it was in a place where I could switch other pedals without bumping the pots on the Burn Unit.

The "gaps" are spaces reserved for future pedals. Maybe a DDLG?
