Discontinued Barber pedals

Postby David Barber » Tue Apr 17, 2012 11:56 pm

We have recently stopped production of the LTD and the LTD SR, we are also building the very last of the Super Sport. This is a heads up for anybody you uses those pedals and wants to get another while they are still on some dealers shelves. I may have one or two left of LTD SR MOD PCB, dealers can email for "last call" pedals. There is no immediate replacement for these pedals but we are going to rework our line over the next year...This does not mean you should expect micro-sized pedals this year. :D

We are looking at a few other pedals to discontinue in both B-Custom and Barber to free up resources...things are getting shaken up!
PRS SE One, PRS SE EG, PRS McCarty rosewood neck, Anderson Hollow T, Anderson Hollow Classic, Hamer Artist, Fender Strats and Teles, All Barber Pedals, Barber Echelon, Barber Energy cab.

Sad news but we need to keep moving forward. I'm looking forward to seeing those new pedals that are cooking. My Direct Drive and DDSS should be here in a few days.

Bittersweet, as it's sad to see some pedals discontinued; but I expect that there'll be some really cool stuff coming soon.

I kinda suspected you'd had some ideas in your head when you mentioned that some pedals were "...still searching for their final format." Perhaps, then, the LTD Std. & SR might continue life together as one in the 1/2 Gainer (streamlined production.. two pedals in one.. makes sense to me)? I'll be lookin' forward to seeing what you've got comin' in the future, for sure!

I am ready for something new... I am still very dependent upon my Half Gainer & OCD... Dual Ultimate just has not worked out for me... (Love stacking it but...) Still looking for a Direct Drive /w Board I guess... Something Phatter than the OCD but in it's same gain area. Fulltone PlimSoul just to nasty for my ears... Wampler Pinnacle... too damn expensive!
I think everybody agrees... OCD has a cool tone... But, It just gets lost... especially compared to any Barber! I look forward to your new offerings... But, Doubt if I can hold out! LOL
