Particularly with the recent news that you are revamping the Barber lineup a bit, I thought it might be interesting for us to hear whether you have a few particular favorites from your pedal offerings over the years? I assume you like them all, and like variety, but are there any "desert island pedals" for you?

A different twist on the question would be to ask what Barber pedals you'd select if you had to limit yourself to, say, a small pedalboard setup for a typical cover-band or "function" gig, where you'd need a variety of tones. And would you go with a clean or dirty amp? Delays, verbs, etc.?

Of course, I understand if your answer is "I love all my pedals equally and couldn't pick just a few".

The Tone Press is number 1 as I can use it with any rig or style I am playing, the overdrives, distortion and fuzz would be dependent on the gig I was playing. Direct Drive is my AC/DC in a box pedal, LTD is my cranked American rock pedal, Trifecta is the trippy 70's fuzz sound and the Small Fry is my fusion pedal...or something like that!

If I am playing a small tweed 5E3 then you can bet I'll want a Barb EQ to make the amp versatile and more pedal friendly.

Cool. And as an owner of a DD, SF, and a Half-Gainer--those applications sound about right to me!
