How can turn the Custom Cool in a blackface sound?

Postby highwayup » Wed Feb 20, 2013 3:38 pm

People always talk about Fender Blackface sound from the Barber B-Custom Cool.
Help me please to set the dynamic to make it happen.
Have I also consider other Knobs too? or trim pots?
Am I just listening the Blackface?
My question is because I always understood, and in fact that I hear, that the Barber Cool respects the sound of amp.
Thanks!

What model amp do you have? How do you set the amp?
PRS SE One, PRS SE EG, PRS McCarty rosewood neck, Anderson Hollow T, Anderson Hollow Classic, Hamer Artist, Fender Strats and Teles, All Barber Pedals, Barber Echelon, Barber Energy cab.

Vox Cambridge 30W Twin Reverb for play with band and Pathfinder 15R for bedroom practice. Set EQ of both amps to 5 (or 12:00) either treble as bass. I put the gain very low.
