Looking for an opionion.

I just wanted to introuduce myself my name is Jon and im a tone junkie im sure like the majority of folks here. I have a LTD version 2 that I absolutely love. Its quiet hi quality components and excellent build qulaity. IMO the tonal qualities really preserve the integrity of my amplifiers signal without any degradation. I have a late model Marshall 2210 which is my favorite amp for higher gain sounds. I have been using a Boss SD-1 to boost the amp for a lead tone. I like the overall effect of the pedal as it really works well pushing this particular amp into a creamy almost liquid like sustain. I run the pedal with the level on full and use just a hint of drive. The issues I have with the SD-1 is that it is really noisey and it robs the low end. With my limited experience with Barber pedals I was curious if there is a pedal in the Barber arsenal that works well slamming the front end of a Marshall in the same spirit as an SD-1. To my understanding the SD-1 uses asymetrical clipping. Im looking for something similar or an improvement which im sure would be the case with a Barber unit. Any advice would sure be appreciated.

Thanks
Jon
