Burn Unit EQ more gain than dual unlimited?

Hello, newbie here
I already have the 1/2 gainer and dual unlimited which have been on my gigging pedalboard for nearly 3 yrs. I play for a living for 30+ yrs and that's all I do. I'm interested in the burn unit e.q. Does it have more gain than the dual unlimited, or about the same with just more clarity? Also about the optional loops, do they allow a delay pedal or what ever effect you are using to not sound slammed into the front of your amp? I always run Delay into the amps effect loop for a smoother sound, does this work the same with the pedal's loop? I joined this forum because I totally believe in your pedals and I keep getting the call back thanks to your pedals! Teleturner

The Burn Unit has a little more sustain than the unLimiTeD, it also has more compression, clarity is about the same, but the Burn Unit is thicker. The effect loops allow you to have a separate effects chain for each channel of the Burn Unit including the bypass, this way you reduce tap dancing to get different sounds.

The BUEQ of course has the dynamics knob, which comes off like a compressor to me. Running without that, and having had both for a few years now, I'd say the UnLTD has at least as much gain as the BUEQ. The BUEQ is pretty british (in spite being *umble inspired), the UNLTD is more USA, with more mids and smoother high end. Gain wise, I don't think there is a significant difference. Both have gobs of it when the knob is cranked.

Does Burn Unit EQ effects loops 3 have ins and outs on both sides of the pedal, or does it need some sort of Y cable to patch in to each channel? I've seen one photo that showed only the left side with the multi jacks. Thanks Teleturner

They use insert cables (TRS), each jack provides and in and an out like inserts on pro consoles.
