Switch Popping on Barber pedals

Postby jcourtjr » Fri Apr 22, 2016 1:16 pm

I have a DD super sport and a 1/2 Gainer. They seem to pop more than any of my other true bypass pedals in my chain. Is there something wrong? The pops are quite loud and don't go away when if I switch them multiple times. I have other pedals that don't do this.
Chain:
Guitar > Strobostomp > Tone Press > Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus > 1/2 Gainer > B-Custom Super Sport > Hardwire DL-8 > Egnater Tweaker 15 > THD 2x12

Guitars:
2011 Gibson Les Paul 1959 RI
2002 Gibson Les Paul Studio

Have you tried swapping out another input cable? When you test them with no other pedal plugged in does this happen? Are the other pedals you are comparing them to also OD pedals? Same exact cables with those?
