The prime concept of this forum is, to be a "Players Forum". To make this a "Players Forum" everyone who posts should have a basic equipment list and if possible a sound clip in their signature. You can place a link to your sound clip in the "sounds of Barber" section.

Here is how: Go to the "user control panel" in the upper left of the board, then go to the "profile" tab, then on the left select "edit signature" . At this point you write all your pertinent guitars, pickups, effects and amp/speakers.

If we keep this a Players forum, and not just another redundant bunch of guys and gals throwing out vaguely pertinent advise, then we actually get to know the people we are taking advise from! Lets keep this basic rule of the forum well enforced, while this may take a little effort to setup, the benefits of players getting and giving advise to people with similar style and sounds will offer a better online environment that gets to the core of tones without waste.

Please post in the correct section, this means use the "Nuts and bolts" section to ask how to modify your Barber pedal.

Thank you! :)

P.S. If it takes you a little while to get your sound-file uploaded, we understand.

Place it in your signature. So it's seen by all when you reply to post.. Not just here. I think this was meant more as a Note to inform you.

I put up a partial equipment list. The only recorded music that I can post now, is something I did totally screwing around, for a friends birthday. And it's PODxt only, not amps or pedals. I'll put up a link in my sig if you really want.

All clips
are "good", we are trying to do something "more helpful" with our forum. I see too much info given out on other forums that is really of little value, and often leads to unwarranted spending.

thank you!
:D

This is not a produced song. Just something I did screwing around.
No Barber pedals were harmed during the making of this recording. (link below)

Sorry guys; maybe I've missed something, but whereabouts in the control panel does it allow me to upload a sound clip?

Either hit edit or just hit reply again.. Type info in the text box just like when you leave a message.

Then scroll down below in blue you'll see (Options) Next to it is tab that says Upload attachments. click that tab..
Then click (Choose file) add file, Submit...

Cheers; thanks Ronni.

Just tried uploading a track, but it doesn't allow MP3 extensions. I'll sort out a host site for some tracks when I get a chance.

Hi...new to the board. I just tried to listen to another member's clip and Windows Media Player could not play it (I'm on Win7 Home Premium). What format, parameters should I save my clip with? Any recommended hosting sites? Thanks...
