Help with my Launch Pad.

I need a bit of help with my Barber Launch Pad.

When I turn the pedal on the signal drops out for about 2 seconds and then comes back in full strength.
It kind of sounds makes me think that all the caps were discharged and need to be recharged for those 2 seconds.
After thinking that, I tried plugging in a 9V power supply. But, everytime I engage the pedal the signal drops out for about 2 seconds before coming back.

Anybody have a similar experience?
Anyone have a clue as to what needs to be fixed?

Thanks in advance,
GuitarMD

If this helps at all... mine did the same thing when I got it brand new. It was the switch. Not sure why, but it seemed to "need breaking in." Whenever it did it, I'd stomp on it 10 times "on-off-on-off" (play by play is no extra charge), and then it would work fine. After doing that 10 times or so, it has never done it again and the Launch Pad has NEVER left my pedal board and is used almost every single time I turn on any guitar. 2 years later it's never done it again.

Mine has never had an Issue, if it is switch related I would definitely replace the switch even if it does not do it that much.

I was contacted by Mr Barber as you can tell from the above posts.
I called in on Wednesday, and was greeted and helped by the most courteous and intelligent employee I have yet to encounter in the music business.
They really take care of their customers. Bravo.

Thank you Barber Electronics Team,
