Thought this to be the best place to pose this question. Big fan here of the Barb E.Q. About the British setting ... I've read reviews where some say Marshall, and some say Vox. Can anyone clarify?

That would be a Marshall style tone stack setting. I tried a Vox Barb EQ, and really was not knocked out by the way it worked with common Fender style amps. I may try again someday, but I would have to lose some of the circuit's "accuracy" to go after the sound "by ear" instead...which is fine! :D

Thanks for that! I'm not really a fan of the classic Marshall sound, but do like what that setting does for my amp (with no tone controls) and some LTD SR turned up.
