Question about Booster in Pedal Order

Postby Mick_Braun » Sat Aug 29, 2009 10:13 pm

My effects are chained in the order as listed in my signature. You'll see it's the "traditional" order: compressor first, then boost/OD, then modulation, then delay. Any contrarians out there who would recommend something different? Also, the main reason for the Uno Mos is to boost/thicken my Strat's tone, especially for clean playing. Is this in the best place, before the DD and Dirty Bomb? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Also, how might I incorporate a Launch Pad into the equation? Line driver at end of chain? Buffer at beginning? Other ideas? Thanks!!

A boost before the dirt will push the dirt harder. I have 2 boosts, one before and one after the dirt, giving me the option. Mostly use the one after, b/c I get enough gain out of my dirt at stage vol. The before one is fun to use in the bedroom for increased gain. ;)
