Wondering which of these would be best in front of a 1x12 Carr Rambler for cranked blackface tones? Thanks for any info!

I would easily recommend either unit for your rig, but the Custom Cool has a wider range of sounds, if you like to experiment, the CC would be the ticket!

Great to hear! I should have mentioned in my original post that I already have a regular LTD and am just now incorporating it back on to my board. I got the Rambler about 6 months ago and haven't tried the LTD with it yet. Will give it a spin this weekend and see where to go from there.

Any EQ suggestions for the LTD to use with the Rambler? I'm guessing to emphasize blackface-y lows and highs, setting the internal bass and presence pretty high would help this. Thoughts?

bass trim at half way, pres at half way and tone control just below centered....but feel free to use your ear to get a better tone than i just described. :)

Thanks David! You know, I'll probably snag a CC as well, just for good measure ;)
