Can I have a Mod Board installed into an older DDSS?

I think we have installed the MOD PCB in older DDSS units. The new SS and DD have extra pads to simply the install.

I've got a mod board installed in an older SS so that I can use the asymmetry 2 feature and the pre-bass pots.
