Can b-Buff be installed in a BJFE SBEQ?

Hi, I have a BJFE SBEQ pedal and would like to have a buffer inside it. The board inside the pedal is gooped, but the stomp switch is not. Do anybody know if the b-buff will fit? If so, would it change the sound of the pedal? I run the SBEQ at 18V. Would i still be able to do so with a b-buff installed?

I am including a pic.

thanks!

That looks like it will fit, and I can see access. The B-Buff runs on 9vdc, and no more and then it pumps the dc up for higher headroom. A little known fact of the B-Buff is that it has an access to supply the increased voltage to the host pedal. This means if your pedal does not have heavy current draw, you can apply 9vdc and run the whole shabang from the B-Buff power...so, can the BJFE handle 24vdc?

David, thanks so much for your response.

I think the SBEQ can’t handle 24 Volts. I think my best bet is to get a b-buff and install it separately on a small enclosure.

Thanks again!
