Custom cool

Hi guys, I'm new in town here. I'm curious about two things: one, I'm designing a small battery powered pedal board powered by a Lithium battery (NP1) delivering 14.5V when fully charged then slowly going down to 11 or 10V. Is the Custom Cool able to take that voltage....? I'm visiting Japan regularly and am tired of schlepping various transformers with me - this would allow me to not plug into house power and so far it seems all my other pedals are happily accepting 14V.

And two, I'd be really curious what setting you guys use with your Custom cool. I just got it a few days ago and still try to get the hang of it. I.E. what exactly is the 'dynamic' knob doing....small changes of any of the pots make for huge differences and I'm still trying to figure the inter-relations between all those knobs ;-)

thanks for chiming in !

The B-Custom Cool can take up to 24 vdc negative tip without issue.

The dynamic increases compresion/sustain when turned CCW.

Thank you plan-x! The CCW > increasing compression played tricks on me. Being right-handed I always think turning clockwise will increase ;-)

If you take the label literally, it does increase dynamics as you turn it clockwise. It becomes more compressed or less dynamic as you turn it counter-clockwise.

YES, you're right - that's it. That really helps!
