i don't think so.... i don't remember ever signing up at gearslutz, but i post in other forums as well,
maybe you tripped across it in one of those...

i never really thought of trying to cover a Gillan tune before.... i always thought his voice was too high (he can go really really high, can't he?)

i was never slated to be the singer on this cover, but the original participant bailed, so i just stepped in.

there's no way i could ever cop Ian Gillan's thing, but it was great practice, to try to learn just a few of his inflections.
i think i'd have to be super pissed off and a bit high on tequila, to get anywhere near his vibe.
