Dual Discrete SR/SR. One in black and another one in Red. Creme knobs..

You can hear the SR tone towards the end during his solo..

man, he had a great tone.

so, you're sayin' he's packing DD's?
that's cool.
i could never see a good shot of the pedalboard...
are those new acquisitions for him?

sounded great.
was that a deluxe he was playing thru?

loved the reaction on his face when mcdonald came out.

Look like a deluxe..

Yeah I built him a Dual Discrete loaded with 2 LTD SR's. He wanted a red box and a black box.
I also just built one for Linda Taylor who is going on the road with him as his gtr player.. She was digging the Single SR he lent her.

He also turned Eric Johnson on to the SR.. They are all big fans of the SR it seems.

I can't argue with any of them. I myself am considering removing the velcro from my LTD-SR, and simply welding it directly to the pedalboard. It ain't goin' anywhere.

SRs stack great, no wonder. I ended up using two of them on a lot on recordings, they sounded better on tape than the Super Sport singly or with a SR. Less gain = more, sometimes.

I didn't know he played :o Sounds great! Either he was pushing his amp a little or stacking LTd's for that much gain. Anyways, that was a great clip showing the SR's tone.
