"i got a Job"

features a DDSS and a Tone Press

the tone press is used as a CLEAN Boost only, on the rhythm guitar track, into the cleaned-up lead channel of a mesa boogie markIIb 60w head.

also, the tone press is put into use on the BASS track, as a regular compressor.

the DDSS is used on the (2) solo guitar tracks, set at around NOON on tone and drive, about 3pm on VOL, into the lead channel of a mesa boogie markIIb 60w head.

you can download a 320kbps mp3 (best) or stream. choose hi fi stream, and select 'external player' on the media screen.
this is a working demo of a tune i'm in the middle of.

as much as i use the Tone Press as a clean boost, i really think it's high time i got a Launch Pad!
LOL

david-
thanks for listening!
and thanks again, for the wonderful products.
seeing as to how i bought one of your katrina relief pedals, and it was this time of the year, what, 4 years back?!! that katrina happened, it's heavy on my mind again.....
i used to live in new orleans, so it has a special place in my heart.
everytime i play thru my Barber DDSS, i think about it.
every time.

mjcyates-
appreciate you checking it out....
i'm working up a new version of this, with a different drum kit.
more of a vintage sound, rather than the modern sound..
just makes it sound fatter.

i'm also going to experiment with doing the rhythm tracks, playing thru ONLY the DDSS pedal, and running that into a Palmer PDI-09 direct box, straight to the recorder, and see what happens.
if that works out, i'll post the results.....
