I'll put that back up here when I get a chance, I hate that we lost all that info, a forum backup would have taken a minute or two, and saved us from losing 2 1/2 years of detailed "how to" posts.

I too am waiting patiently for info on how to do this...my switch doesn't make it sound different either.

I found the pic in my files. Here is the deal, snip the resistor that I drew the rectangle around (snip and spread will work to test). If you now hear a difference, then it always worked, but was not an overt enough difference for your amp rig, settings or (gulp) hearing! Some people's guitar rigs simply lack the clarity in the low end to hear the three positions. Listen to the sound file on our website, they are easy to hear on our shop amp. If you are trying to hear the differences clearly, make sure your sludge control is all the way up and tone control is at about 11 o clock, now hit an open A chord, and switch the three settings. If you don't understand this tweak, take it to someone who does, We charge to fix hacked tweaks.

After spending a lot of quality time with my Trifecta, I have no desire to change anything on it.

The switch makes a subtle, but quite noticeable difference in tone. It is more apparent as you turn up the volume of your amp

if you want to hear the difference between the 3 toggle settings......follow Mr. Barbers advice on tone and sludge settings......and add one more thing. Turn the fuzz up all the way. When you toggle on a A chord you WiLL hear 3 diff. tones.

I tried the Trifecta Toggle Test because I too was not hearing any difference between the three toggle settings.

Using my most most articulate sounding amp (Carlson dual EL-34 based 2x10/Emi Ragin' Cajuns) I followed the directions posted. I now did hear a very subtle difference in how the low end was handled at each toggle setting. Admittedly my amp volume was very low (tried it at home), is it truly more pronounced at louder amp volumes?

Another question: I rarely run the Fuzz level much beyond halfway as the pedal seems to generate a lot of background noise which only gets louder as I turn up the Fuzz This occurs when running on battery or standalone power supply, in my pedal chain or running the pedal solo. Just normal for a fuzz? There is also a constant audible low level buzz from this pedal while sitting in my chain turned off. Preventable?
