Burn Unit EQ Channel Differences

Postby DoobieK » Sat Aug 29, 2009 3:14 pm

I have a Burn Unit EQ and each mode, or channel sounds a little different when cranked. I would like both to sound like the lower/bottom controls. Would removing the 15k resistor on the top BURN pot make the mode sound like the lower mode?

No, it will make the Burn control stuck "all the way up". The two channels are just footswitchable vol and drive controls. i am not sure what you are hearing as the difference, this has not been reported before,

Thanks for the reply David. The lower, or bottom controls have a more open and nastier (in a good way) sound to it. The top controls seem a little more compressed and doesn't cut through quite as much. The difference is less noticeable, but still present when both are set to lower gain.
