Speaker recommendation for dirtpedals

Postby MullyFX » Fri Feb 10, 2017 8:54 am

Heya,

I'm looking into getting new speakers for my open back 4x10 cabinet and was thinking about either Eminence Legend 1058 or WGS G10C/S
since youtube videos and sound descriptions only get you so far I was hoping someone has played either of those with a few Barber pedals and can let me know how they handle dirt.

cheers,
Guitar: Gibson The Paul, Taranaki Proto #2

I like the straight cone Ragin Cajun from Eminence, 10" speakers tend to be lighter and sound fizzy of you go for the small voice coils and ribbed cones. I can't comment on the speakers you asked about since I have not tried them. The Ragin's might be too heavy in a 4x10.
