Ok, now this is something..........

I went to a friend's house to try the Small Fry with a Fuel Tank (Trex power box), the pedal worked fine, ok, so that takes care of that. So I riped out the battery (No 1 of 4 in a pack) & placed No 2 of 4 in a pack, the pedal did the same thing as described as above, short cut clips with nothing else (Robot sounds), so I riped that battery out & put in number 3 of 4 in a pack. Same thing, so what the hell is going on??? My friend suggested that I try a different pedal with the same batteries, so I did just that, turns out the batteries 1, 2 & 3 of 4 in a pack didn't power up my other pedal (an FL9).

So we tried my mates Small Stone, they didn't power it either. This has never happened before, so I bought a new pack of 4 batteries & put one in my Small Fry, worked fine, back to lovely overdrive magic.

So after all is done & most importantly the pedal is working, I call up Duracel Australia & explain want has happened, turns out that this is very rare, that batteries won't charge, being brand new & all, & still in their usedby dates. So the Battery company is sending me 2 brand new packs of 4 (8 9volts) for free. Excellent !

Thanks to David & Ronni replying to my posts & emails, pedal works great !

Cheers. :D

You could always put a multi-meter on a new 9v to make sure it's 9v's.
G&L Legacy Special, PRS SE soapbar II, beefed up PV Classic50 4X10, Barber pedals, Budda Wah , Line6 green/blue F/X.
Then a bunch of studio stuff.
