Tone Press Hum

Postby Stringmaster » Fri Mar 05, 2010 5:46 pm

I posted a more general question over in Nuts & Bolts, but I'm looking for some insight as to what might be causing the hum when I plug my Tone Press into a Roland 9V adapter. In bypass mode the hum goes away, as expected. Plugging either the amp or the pedal into a Hum-X does not seem to affect the noise.

Any thoughts?

Is the hum changed when you turn your guitars volume all the way down?

The hum doesn't change at all when I turn down the guitar volume.

Cool, I'll finish up on the nuts and bolts forum, it's more relevant to your issue.
