Noisy eq pedal

Postby cjs102460 » Wed May 12, 2010 1:59 pm

I'm currently running through an MXR M108 10-band eq pedal. It gives great tone, but a huge amount of noisy hiss as well. I'm considering changing eq pedals and going with the Barb EQ, but I could really use some advice here, particularly from other M108 users. Can I expect comparable tone capabilities with the Barb EQ, and can I expect noise free performance? I look forward to some input.

i use the older "blue" mxr 10 band eq and its very quite, does not have a on/off switch and no wall wort (which I like) and I use the pedal all the time so not worried about on and off switch anyways.
