OK, I tried the same experiment doing direct from the Trifecta to hard disk recording through a mixer, with no amp. I hear absolutely no difference between the toggle switch settings. In fact, when I hit an "A" chord and then toggle through the three switch positions while the chord is ringing, on the recording playback it's impossible to discern that the switch is being toggled. It's as if the switch isn't even connected.

I got the Trifecta today 8-)

edit: there is a definite difference between the toggle settings. The Trifecta also works well anywhere in the chain!

Got mine coming in Sat or Mon. I can't wait. I've been through about 15 different fuzz pedals, none of them seems to do it for me, maybe this one will be different. The two best were a Skreddy Top Fuel and a Blackout Musket. I haven't tried a tone bender clone yet, maybe that's what I'm looking for.

I just tried it tonight, did some recording with it even. Hopefully we'll have it up on MySpace within a couple weeks. Sounds awesome, will probably have a new board pic tomorrow. I think I even like it better than my old Blackout Musket. I sort of miss the Mids tone pot, but the push pull switch seems to provide a decent amount of mids.

I love the Trifecta. I typically am not able to use fuzz pedals when I play live because I use an 18 watt amp that is already semi-dirty; most fuzzes disappear in the mix. The Trifecta works like a charm.
