LTD

Funny, I have owned nearly every Barber pedal and I finally just got around to purchasing an LTD (From Guitar Emporium here in Louisville, KY). Man, this thing rips! It's gotta be one of my absolute favorites. I love the fatness it has compared to the LTD SR; two very different pedals to my ears. Barber rules.

Oh, and another thing: it sounds as good as the Analogman King of Tone V4. Here is a little vid:

Haha, I just set it up for the purpose of the video. I don't even use a pedal-board these days, just grab the guitar, amp, and one pedal and I'm out the door. I already sold the Timmy and KOT.

The LTD is the best pedal I've ever used, honestly the only distortion that serves my needs to perfection.
PRS DC3 PRS 22 Semi-Hollow, LTD, Gibson Studio w/burstbuckers
Barber LTD Fulltone mini Deja' vibe, Clyde Wah Sunface NKT275 red dot
Rivera Venus 3 (1x12)

In the short time I've owned the LTD I have compared it to the following pedals, and the LTD wins:

Trex/Jauernig DGTM
Maxon OD808
Reissue TS808
Paul C Timmy
Analogman KOT
MXR Classic Overdrive (The Guitar Center one)
BMF Effects El Jefe

I wonder what will be defeated next ?

yeah thanks for those videos....

you make the LTD and the LTD SR very desirable...

just from the video I do prefer the SR to the Timmy and the LTD to the KOT (it sounds very similar to the KOT but simply looks better and is not as expensive)

if you don't mind however can you riddle me this.... sorry.. answer this...

can the sounds of the LTD SR be replicated with the Custom Cool....

cuz I like the the sound of the LTD SR (judging from the video)
and only briefly tested the Custom Cool in a shop
It sounded good but not as magical as I hoped - then again it wasn't my guitar nor my amp and the shop was kinda crowded...

the thing is I guess I want the Custom Cool because of the tweak-ability...
but your clips are shouting: BUY AN LTD SR.....

I've got no issues with Tweaking... and I don't mind if it takes a while to get the LTD SR tone...
just wanted to know if these are comparable when the CC is tweaked correctly....

Yeah, the CC can do the LTD SR tones. Great pedal!
