The toggle selection you mentioned are asymmetric, but they are also higher output (center lower gain/distortion). Light ribbed cone speakers with 1" voice coils can have exaggerated treble fidelity at lower volumes until you crank them and they become less efficient at producing highs, un-doped can make things even a little more "excited". When you are listening to the center and right selections on the toggle, are their any other effect pedals plugged in? Is your amp set perfectly clean? We have been making the Burn Unit/SF for about 13 years, I have not heard reports in the past that the center and right are fizzy...without being in the room with your rig, I would guess the extra output could be a factor, but I'm not in the room. Clip??
