Dec 27th is still the target date for first shipments. So far everything is going well. :)

Indeed, we were able to start shipping one week ahead of time due to some heroic building efforts from Ronni, David S and Britt! :D

Indeed! Received my shipping notification this morning. Can't wait to place this pedal in my chain. Thanks for everything David. You've certainly outdone yourself in both the build aspect & the delivery aspect as well. There's good reason why your pedal sold out in just two business days. Wishing you continued success!

I did get my Gain Changer on the 24th, didn't get to try it until today. Did some very interesting A/Bing with my SR. Seems the setting closest to my particular SR is actually the "Fat SR" setting on the Gain Changer (toggle to the left). It's pretty much identical. Not sure if I have a special SR or not, or it's just how I set the trims.

Since I'm still happy with my SR I'm going to sell that Mad Professor SHOD on my singer's board and put the Gain Changer on it.

I received my Gain Changer just before Christmas & immediately opened her up! Flawless soldering & wiring skills. Just an awesome pedal all the way around. I did want to mention that I had 3 small pieces of clipped wire loose inside my pedal laying across the Board & near a couple of Diodes & the IC Socket.

You may want to give these pedals a few blasts of compressed air before buttoning them up as one of the snipped wire pieces (the largest) could have shorted something on the board then have you scratching your head later. Other than that this pedal is a 100% WIN!

Well done!

Please Email me the initials or name (s) inside the unit. All the builders have air on their bench, and checking for shrapnel is redundantly part of the procedure.

I'd look for them in January.

Is this still a valid ETA, or has the GC pedal pushed back the availibility of the larger version? Thanks!

Next run of Gain Changers is due January 31st. Orders will most likely be accpeted one week ahead (24th). There is no wait-list available for Barber products.

The regular sized version should become available by March.
