Here is another view to help answer some questions about trim pots. The color and final graphic should be together in the next week, we are still making those decisions while we wait for the enclosures to be machined...should be a fun three weeks!

Still fantastic-lookin' build quality there, unlike so many other so-called "boutique" pedals I keep seeing with jacks & pots soldered to the board & whatnot.

I also notice no space for a battery... been seeing more of that lately, too. It's not really necessary anyway, since everybody & their grandma seem to have PP2's and power-all's anyway. Won't bother me any.

Thank you for noticing! We decided that a compact series of pedals that are designed for smaller pedalboards do not need a battery compartment. This allowed us to make a much higher quality audio device without having to sacrifice solder lugs and layout for a dying method of powering audio. Many players want 12-18 volts, that won't happen with a battery either. I did not want to have the battery laying on top of wires for fear of wear on the insulation over time, and I did not want to push the footswitch perilously close the to knobs (bad design choice), and float the PCB on top the pots, all in the name of a battery that will most likely never be used. ;)

It's been a lot of fun finding a way to hold on to my design philosophy while making a compact product.

The only problem with your design philosophy is that it always ends up costing me money!
Seriously though I love the way you build pedals and I love the pedals that you build! You are the man! I will be acquiring one of these new units.

I have the Tone Press, DirectDrive, and LTD SR. Love them all. Do you see this as a combination of the DD and LTD SR? It would be great to free up a slot on my board. Thanks for your consistently fine work.

Can I get a 4-footswitch version that allows me to stomp between each toggle switch setting, plus a master volume boost?

Hey...where would you be without customer feedback?!?!?!? ;)

Gain. Volume. And what's the middle knob? Tone? Or something else? Mids would be cool.
