Maybe some day (years), but we have bring compact pedals out slowly. From a business standpoint the market is so small that each newly released compact cannibalizes the sales of the previous release (tiny pedals are a fashion product). When we brought out the CDD people went to sleep on the Gain Changer and it dropped out of sight on most guitar forums (new Prada shoes have the same effect)
. Sales are still strong for the Gain Changer, but the public feeding frenzy is for new-stuff. The next compact pedal will probably be less exciting than an overdrive, distortion or fuzz. The message I want to get across is there will be significant distance between each compact release, we are absolutely
not in the process of shrinking the whole line. I would guess at least another year or two before there are serious releases of overdrive, distortion or fuzz in compact format. I have around 4 new releases or updates that won't be for people with small feet.
The CDD is somewhat close in sound to the BU, we may never need to do that.
