I have an early release Direct Drive - one with the handwritten letter.

I am curious what differences there are between mine and a new one?

The new Direct Drive (2005-present), has an internal Bass control that can add more bass, a presence control that can add more top to the OD circuit, and slightly less mids.

Thank you David. Do you know about what year(s) the hand lettered DD's were made?

BTW - just order a Dirty Bomb this morning, very excited to receive it!!!
