So where does the Silver LTD sit in the LTD line? From what I can glean from the main Barber website, it has a flatter response than the LTD v1. I've been searching this forum, but can't really find much about it :( . There was probably a fair bit of info in the older Barber forum?

The silver had a very subtle tone control, and a moderately flat response. The low end was about the same as the v1 if I remember correctly, the v2 has a little more bottom and low mids.

Well, I have a Silver LTD on the way. Were any of these made as beta versions of the LTD SR, so to speak? Just curious.

The Silver LTD circuit was a separate model from the SR, I don't remember if we ever used a silver enclosure and built an SR in it. Did the seller indicate that it was an SR circuit?

I believe the Silver enclosure was used even before me... But I started using the black one. Brit did the first ones in silver I think. But I don't think it was many at all.. And I thought they only went to the people they were built for.
G&L Legacy Special, PRS SE soapbar II, beefed up PV Classic50 4X10, Barber pedals, Budda Wah , Line6 green/blue F/X.
Then a bunch of studio stuff.

The guy I'm getting a Silver LTD from said "it was sold to him as a Special Recipe version". Not sure what that means, really. At any rate, I'll have something.... :)

Ronni, are you referring to LTD SRs?

Yes.. Sounds like it's an SR version if he said Special Recipe.
