Well, the picture of the current issue LTD SR looks browner than the regular LTD to me. After looking at the two pictures, I guess cream knob and black knob would be more appropriate. The cream knobs on the SR make the brown lettering stand out, while the black knobs on the regular make the black box more dominant, to my eyes.

Well it's a black box with gold lettering...
G&L Legacy Special, PRS SE soapbar II, beefed up PV Classic50 4X10, Barber pedals, Budda Wah , Line6 green/blue F/X.

Some of those pictures on the Barber site are taken with really warm direct sunlight, it can play tricks on the colors...we are using studio light more often now to get the color closer and reduce shadows. :D

That makes sense. I think the black knobs on the LTD emphasize the black of the case. If it weren't for the additional expense of painting different boxes for the LTD and the LTD SR, a dark brown with those cream knobs would look pretty cool. I think I'll experiment with different colored knobs on my SR in the silver box. I have to look at it pretty close to see the green vs the red LED.

Hi guys, is there a specific manual for the Silver LTD?

It's close enough to the standard manual, same principals.
