B-Buff in a Box

Postby RussB » Sat Apr 11, 2009 1:53 am

This is a follow-up to the posts I had made previously. My thanks to Ronni, David and a couple guys from the "other" forum, who's help made this possible.

I used a Hammond 1590A enclosure and got the B-Buff used from a member at TGP

Nicely done.

Lookin' forward to doing the same.

Was thinking of getting a B-Buff installed in my Small Fry, but a separate enclosure allows it to go anywhere in the chain.

Good stuff.

Am I correct that the plastic grommet hole-thing is a way to get a mini screwdriver to the trim pot on the board? This is a great idea BTW, and nicely made.

Yep, the grommet is to guide a screwdriver rigght into the trim pot. I have a small all plastic screwdriver that fits just about perfect into that grommet.

I took my inspiration from some B-Buff's that others had done. I hope no one minds if I post pics of them...

Didn't realize the purpose of the grommet. Ingenious.

RussB,
I like the stickers. Just curious, I am still trying to find some wire that I like for wiring pedals. That wire you used looks nice. Care to share your source? Thanks!

It's teflon coated solid wire. I got it from tedweber.com

There is also stranded wire available

the stickers are from Wal-Mart
