That's what I was thinking, but since both pots are at middle at 12 o'clock, I wanted to ask to make sure. They don't seem to be set 1/4 turn apart.
Until a few months ago, I used the LTD soley with my Dupont MC-50 and peche a la mouche pickup. Tone set to 12, drive no higher than 9 o'clock. Over the past couple years, I've bought a few electrics and finally (over the past two weeks) figured out what all the knobs on the guitar (and amp) are supposed to do regarding tone. Yesterday, my wife asked to hear what each of my pedals sound like. I set everything to half-way (bass, mids, treble, on amp; tone and volume halfway on my PRS DC3) and played several licks using each pickup.
After hearing all of my pedals (Barber LTD and Trifecta; Fulltone mini deja vibe, ocd, and standard clyde wah), with all knobs set at 12 (volume, drive, fuzz, intensity, etc), I asked her to write down her favorite (to avoid wondering if she agreed with me just to be nice). After telling her that my desert isle pedal is the LTD, she smiled and unfolded her paper with the letters LTD written. In fact, she didn't like ANY of the others but LOVED the LTD. She said "that's the only one that doesn't ruin the nice sound of your guitar". Good to know my wife has good taste!!!
On the website I see some new pedals. Thinking one of the medium gain (british or california) would make a nice addition. Which would have the most contrast to the LTD?
