Ooops I ordered one of these! Couldn't resist.

I came to the site to read up on the Direct Drive, and when I read the description of the unLimiTeD I knew it was the one for me!

There is no switch on this one, it is designed from the ground up to be higher gain and more aggressive while using the SR tone control and not pushing the mids forward. I came up with a cool compromise point in the adjustable RIAA recovery circuit that allows your guitar's tone control to be much more useful, instead of getting dark during the first 1/4-1/2 rotation it just gets fatter and squawky. When I want the fatter sound for lead work I just roll back the guitar's tone control a little, when you wind it back up you have a really nice open ringing quality.

Holy CRAP that pedal looks wicked--probably sounds wicked, too. You've managed to combine sonic characteristics of the Direct Drive and the LTD? Yer killin' me here!!!

* Looks around him on the floor, trying to see if he can scrounge together $120 *

PS. Am I then to assume that the Tone control is "neutral" dead-center at the 12:00 position like the LTD? I really do like that design, it seems more useful than the typical top-cut tone control (you can almost call it a "balance" knob).

Indeed, it is the "neutral" dead-center tone control, I really like that control too! :)

Well, this is a great idea. This is just what I need. After being spoiled by the transparent low gainers, kicking on a freakin TS style mid gainer or something just don't cut it. I can't wait to employ this baby on my board. I presume it has the standard bass/presence internal trims?
